To get to Venice
Water Taxi
The fastest and most exclusive way to reach Venice is by water taxi.
The pier is about 50 metres from the entrance to the airport.
The journey from the airport to St Mark’s Square takes approximately 12 minutes.
You can request a water taxi directly at the Operations Office or at 041770300 (normally the wait is 15/20 minutes).
Vaporetto
Vaporetto lines 1, 2, 5.1, 5.2, 14 connect the island of Lido to Venice with trips every 5/10 minutes. The stop is at Santa Maria Elisabetta (S.M.E.) about 1.5 km from the airport.
It is reached by a walk of about 20 minutes. The route offers an enchanting view of the Lagoon, the city of Venice and St Mark’s Square.
Alternatively, you can take an ACTV bus, a taxi (car), rent an electric bicycle or scooter available outside the airport.
Electric bike and scooter for rent
Electric bicycles or scooters are available for hire just outside the airport. They can be used in Lido but not in Venice, where you may only circulate by foot.
